Missouri had a chance to win thechampionship and looked good enough to repeat when the season opened, butinjuries so handicapped the Tigers that they did not play up to their standardin all of the games. The team was well coached and played splendid games were lost, to K. S. A. C. and Kansas. The others were victories, thewin over Oklahoma being the most brilliant effort in the campaign of the OldGold and Black Runt Spurling
