"Growler" icebergs in the Gerlache Strait off mountainous Brabant Island, Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica.
The Gerlache Strait seperates the Antarctic Peninsula from the Palmer Archipelago of which Brabant Island is the 2nd largest and most inhospitable island. The strait is named after the leader of the 1897-99 Belgica expedtion Adrien de Gerlache.
