Air Force members assigned to the 31st Rescue Squadron prepare a boat for a training demonstration during a Fifth Air Force mission immersion event at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Jan. 18, 2024. The visit included immersions with 961st Airborne Air Control Squadron, 33rd Rescue Squadron and MC-130 demo, as well as provide Air Force leadership from across Japan with a forum to discuss military quality of life issues, the global security environment and increasing threats throughout the Pacific theater.
