The eighth annual show of theSouth Jersey Poultry and Pigeon As-sociation, Inc., was held at the usualtime (Thanksgiving week) andproved to be the largest and bestshow ever held. The hall was handsomely decorat-ed, well lighted, wide aisles and allEmpire cooping. The classes were well filled, RhodeIsland Reds, White Rocks, WhiteWyandottes, Light Brahmas, Part-ridge Cochins, Partridge Wyandottesand Houdans leading. The water fowl classes were thebest and largest ever seen here. The well-known secretary, PaullsSpringer, and show committee are tobe commended for their careful at-tention to all the little details thatare making this show so well spokenof. Many of the breeders in this local-ity are winners at Madison Square,Philadelphia, Baltimore, Allentownand Hagerstown, proving that SouthJersey is doing much good work forthe poultry industry in the east.
