Her home waswith her brothers Myron and Amasa till hermarriage to Asa Eaton, of Elmhurst, Pa,, 10November, 1880. They resided at Elmhurst sev-eral years, where Mr. Eaton had charge of theTannery of his brother-in-law, Jackson Schultz,of New York City. Mr. Eaton retired from ac-tive business in 1884, and purchased of W. a pleasant home in the village of Dalton,Lackawanna county, Pa., only a mile from hiswifes birth place and long-time home. Mr. 121 Eaton died 1 April, 1895, and his widow con-tinues to reside in the home he purchased inDalton. She has no children. 122. .IKFPHKV DKAN Jeffrey Dean and Descendants. (36) Jeffrey® Dean (of Jonathan^, Ezra**, Jonathan^,James^, Walteri,) Was born in West Greenwich, R. I., 16 Septem-ber, 1781. He came with his father to Abington,Luzerne (now Lackawanna) county, Pa,, in married Sibyl Hall, daughter of JonathanHall, of Plainfield, Conn., 2 May, 1805. Shewas born 30 January, 1786, and died 10 Decem-ber, 1878. Jeffrey Dean was an active and influentialmember of the Baptist Church, of Abington, andsucceeded his father, Jonathan Dean, as clerkof the church, 26 November, 1808, continuing inthat office till 1828. He was made a Deacon ofthis church, 27 April, 1822, and continued to servetill the infirmities of ag
