The old primer is removed by a single pressure of thehandles, and then, with shells properly cleaned, the seating of thenew primer is the task of a moment. The instructions which thetool makers send out with I lie neat little invention are models ofconciseness and are worth reprinting: Iu Casting Bullets.—Be sure the mould is hot, also the lead, oryou cannot get good results. Care should always be taken, alter IDEAL N° A—Bullet Mould. B—Loading D-Adjustable Hunger, firing, to clean the shells in strong, boiling soapsuds or soda that all the burned powder is removed, or the shells will soonbe destroyed by corrosion. To Remove the old Primer.—Place the extracting plug in theloading chamber B. wi th the pin up; put the shell over it, bringthe. handles together, press the shell gently on the pin until theprimer is expelled. To Seat the Primer.—Be sure the shell is empty. Never attemptto seat the primer after you have the powder iu. Enter the primerswell in the pocket of the shell by placing them on the loadingtable wrong side up, and forcing the pocket of the shell downup9n the primer, th en place the shell in the hole C, bring thelevers together, and the punch will force the primer sure it is below the surf ace of the head, or it may interferewith the action of the arm, and cause premature explosion.
