Placing Exhibits The first consideration in placing exhibits isthat they shall be at the right height. The bestspace on walls is that on a level with the eye will travel up and down in following adisplay that has caught the visitors attention,but isolated placards, pictures, or objects placedtoo high or too low to be within easy range havesmall chance of being observed. The wall spaces of a car are considerably broken,as may be observed in the photographs. Thecurved space is excellent for decoration or for briefslogans, but should not be depended upon for any-thing requiring detailed examination. The upperpart of the window space is usually most nearlyat eye level, but windows are needed for light andit is wise not to cover with displays that shut outthe light more than a half or a third of those onone side and n
