Davis (FFG 60) and the Republic of Singapore Ship (RSS) Independence VBSS teams. The MSST facilitated the combined VBSS training on board USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) as part of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2005. CARAT is a regularly scheduled series of bilateral military training exercises with several Southeast Asia nations designed to enhance the interoperability of the respective sea services.
