Richard Kim commander for 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Task force Bronco lands Sept. 21 at Observation Point Shogun above Wanat valley. Hughes' company was responsible for setting up and maintaining the strongpoint that provided overwatch and support by fire for Afghan commandos and Special Forces during Operation Fire Rock, the most recent operation conducted by TF Bronco.
