A hussar's cap for an officer in the 14th Mitavsky Hussar Regiment, Russia circa 1910 Black sheepskin, convex silvered chin scales with leather underlay. The visible side bears a stamped, silvered Russian double eagle with Cyrillic maker's designation "Fokin" as well as a metal cockade. Silver-coloured caplines with buttons. Yellow colpak with silver braid. Leather sweatband, brown, fine silk liner with watered silk repp stripes and illegible stampings. In good condition.
