Card-catalogues should be made on the L,. B. index slips, made and sold by the Library Bureau, Boston, Mass. Figure 100 is a sample from the writer's catalogue by authors. A larger size should be selected if it is desired to include abstracts. When long abstracts or considerable extracts are made from literature which has been borrowed, or may not be readily accessible in future, heavy sheets (6jg by 8-;H.
