It is of rapid growth, v\ith deep green foliage, and a wonderful profusion of ciimson scarlet tubular flowers one and a half inches long These are borne on longer stems than the ordinary Manettia, and when grown on a trellis, as shown in the illustra- tion, all the flowers grow outward so that the whole surface is a rmass of flowering crimson scarlet of a most pleasing shade, and in sharp contrast to the foliage. Owing to the length of the stems and graceful form of the flowers, the slightest breeze gives them a graceful wavy motion, which adds wonderfully to their attractiveness. As a summer climber, in a position where a graceful vine is required, it has no equal, beginning to flower early in July and continuing one mass of bloom until cut down by severe frosts. 75 cts. per dozen ; $ per 100.
