Lune Mills was the home of James Williamsons linoleum business. In it's heday, it employed more than 3000 people. Known as Nairn Williamsons, it was later owned by Forbo Kingfisher, and finally Hindrichs-Aufermann Interiors, who closed the plant in 2001 with the loss of 180 jobs.
