It is a structure built of brickand stone, in Queen Anne style, being situated at theintersection of two prominent streets, giving all the roomsan outside view. The main entrance, corridors, readingrooms, parlors, and dining room are not surpassed by anyhotel south of New York. The building is heatedthroughout by steam, lighted with gas, and supplied withelectric bells, with water closets and bath rooms on everyfloor. The hotel contains sixty-eight rooms, all of whichare large, well ventilated, and furnished in a very tastefuland comfortable manner, many of them being arrangeden suite.
