The restored Brighton bandstand on the seafront with a Brighton and Hove Bus & Coach Company bus passing behind it.


Brighton and Hove Bus & Coach Company bus 702 "Ronald Bates" (named after the man who founded the Brighton Festival in 1967), stands by Brighton's Victorian seafront bandstand . The ornate bandstand built in 1884 and weighing 23 tonnes was last used regularly in the 1950's has been restored at a cost of £950,000 by Brighton and Hove City Council. The bandstand will be used regularly by various bands and choirs throughout the summer.
