Autograph by Soviet dissident Natalya Gorbanevskaya in the guest book of Charles University. Text in Russian: For your and our freedom! Thank you, Charles University! Russian poetess and translator Natalya Gorbanevskaya was one of eight protesters to demonstrate in Red Square in Moscow on 25 August 1968 against the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia. Now she was awarded by the Gold Medal of Charles University. Natalya Gorbanevskaya visited Prague one month before her death. She died in Paris at age 77 on November 29, 2013.
