Elijah White who marchedto New York, with a company of thirty-seven men, in was a selectman in 1777, 1778, and 1781, was town clerkfrom 1784 to 1789, was eleven times chosen one of the repre-sentatives to the Legislature, between 1785 and 1807, andwas for a long time a justice of the peace.
