Jaan Tõnisson (1868 - 1941). The legendary statesman (Prime Minister, Head of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs) and the owner and editor-in-chief of the newspaper Postimees. The monument was opened in 2001, the metal net behind the statue symbolises media.
