160318-N-MD297-054 PACIFIC OCEAN (March 18, 2016) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Lassen (DDG 82) conducts a pre-action calibration fire (PACFIRE) with its close-in weapon system (CIWS). Lassen is currently underway in support of Operation Martillo, a joint operation with the Coast Guard and partner nations within the 4th Fleet area of responsibility.
