Austria / Hohe Tauern National Park - Impacts of Climate Change: glacier melting. Icefall at Pasterze glacier.

Austria / Hohe Tauern National Park - Impacts of climate change: Serac zone at retreating Pasterze glacier beneath Mount Grossglockner (3798m), Austria's highest peak. All glaciers in Austria are retreating rapidly. The 5th Assessment Report "Climate Change 2013" of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (September 2013) confirms the humane induced change of the earth's climate and predicts disastrous impacts of rising temperatures, including vanishing of most of the glaciers.
