Was a full termbaby, normal birth. He is the sixth ofseven children, having four sisters andtwo brothers all of normal developmentand good health. There is no history of any deformityin any member of the family on either thematernal or paternal side as far back ascan be traced. The father and motherare normal, healthy country people, thefather being thirty-seven years and themother thirty-six years old when the babywas born. The child was brought to the Ortho-pedic Department of Jefferson MedicalCollege Hospital in April, 1916, at whichtime he was slightly over two years ofage.
