The fore thighs (as they appearin E. maculatrix) have not the strong brush of hairs which is so conspicuous in Agarista, and in factare glabrous. The tarsi are very long, and become gradually more slender to the tips, each beingfurnished with one very long and slender unguis, the other being short and bifid. The four- terminaljoints of the tarsi are almost denuded, except that there exists a row of very delicate short setae, andanother of slender short incurved spinulae. J. O. W. in NaturaUsts Libr.
