It is a much easier matter to keep horses from learning tojump over and break down fences than to break them of thesegrievous habits after they have contracted them. Seldom, ifever, are horses naturally breachy, but the habit is eitheracquired by seeing others at it, or by allowing the fences toget so poor that the horses are tempted to get over them. Thehorse that is used to good strong fences all his life is never abad one to jump over them. 1885 Ipte ^xzztXKx mm gpmctsmaxu 189 BAY DISTRICT ASSOCIATION. PALL SEASON.
