In 1725 it fell into the hands of the WIC and was renamed Fort Hollandia. The same page features a picture of Fort Amsterdam at Cormantin. The fort could be the Danish fort of Frederiksborg at Cabo Cors, which was also referred to as 'Koningsfort' (King's Fort). In compiling his 'Histoire G??n??rale Des Voyages, Ou Nouvelle Collection De Toutes Les Relations De Voyages Par Mer Et Par Terre [...]' Du Bois made no clear distinction between these two forts. Cf.
