At the Marines Corps, in the Van Braam Houckgeestkazerne (VBHKAZ) in Doorn, Captain Der Mariniers (Kaptmarns) Willem Kayzer (1936-1973) just received the Cross of Merit (KV) from the Commander of Seaworthy forces (BDZ) Vice- Admiral (VADM) AHJ Van der esteemed Olivier. This cross of merit is awarded "because of courageous and policy action in Dutch New Guinea".
