Nevasa, a troop ship, from an unattributed double size postcard, c1914. She was built for the British India Steam Navigation Company and launched in 1913 as SS Nevasa. Following the outbreak of WWI she was converted in 1914 to a troop ship (as pictured), before becoming a hospital ship ( Nevasa) the following year. She is seen here under sail, on calm seas. Some surface creasing on the original.
