Infantry officer and herald from the first half of 16th century. From a coloured drawing by Hans Holbein in a cabinet of curiosities in Dresden. The officer wears a large hat with plumes, half armour, doublet with quilted and slashed sleeves, odd stockings, garters and leather shoes. The herald wears a tabard with a coat of arms of a two-headed eagle.
