In fact, no schoolis fully complete without it. Since medicalattention is not in reach of every rural school, everypossible convenience should be provided in case ofemergency or accident. When a serious accidentoccurs, the emergency kit is not intended to take theplace of calling a physician or surgeon, but may beprovided with helpful means of relief until skilledassistance arrives. There are many ailments and accidents thatare common among school children. Such ailmentsas toothache, earache, insect bites and stings, cuts,bruise?, and sprains, that may not be immediatelyserious, but may become serious and place an effectual check on the school work if neg-lected.
