The exceptionally open weather for this season of the year is bringing along the chrysanthemums at a great rate and the market is stocked up with quantities of blooms in all grades. All other stock is also seen in abundance. Roses and carnations are particularly nne and there will be a good advance in price as soon as the chrysanthe- mums go by. Extra fine stock of White Killarney from Connecticut is offered daily; there is also some very good local stock. Killarney is some- what light in color at present, while My Maryland is now in splendid form and color. American Beauty is a trifle more plentiful, but holds fairly well in price. Dorothy Gordon leads all the carnations and is becoming a great favorite, its large size and good bright color making it a good seller. "Violets have been in good demand and the stock is now about up to the top notch, some excellent flowers being seen. Local and imported doubles ap- pear to be in constant demand. Or- chids are hardly keeping up to the de- mand. Lily of the valley is plentiful, as are Easter lilies. Gardenias are in good demand and growers say there will be a succession from now until spring.
