ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 28, 2013) An AV-8B Harrier from Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 231 approaches the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3). Kearsarge is participating in Composite Training Unit Exercise off the East Coast of the United States in preparation for an upcoming deployment this spring.
