Beadle, St. HAVE never attempted graftingLaburnum on Locust. The Laburnumgrows so readily and rapidly from seedthat there has been no object to begained, even if successful. I do notbelieve that the Laburnum would beany more hardy growing on the Locustthan on its own root. As both of these. season I tried a couple of siiipments ofWinter St. Lawrence in cases to Liver-pool and Glasgow, with satisfactoryresults.
