Fine air-slaked lime or tobacco dust will de- stroy the turnip flea, which is apt to attack theyoung plants. One packet contains about 1,000 seeds, an oz. about 4,000. One ounce will sow 800 feet of drill, and % of a lb. should provide enough plants for an acre. EXTRA EARLY VARIETIES. Alpha Cabbage. A grand new extra early solid- heading variety.
