Teepee Land is an informal communal settlement of tents, yurts, teepees & shacks using reclaimed, recycled materials in Kreuzberg-Berlin, Germany The enterprising residents have claimed a narrow strip of land and use reclaimed and discarded materials to create homes. They treasure their freedom but have strict rules that ban hard liquor & hard drugs. Their future is under threat as they are occupying a valuable strip of land next to the Spree and investors would like to claim this land, The old Eisfabrik (Ice factory) next to tepee land is being redeveloped at present
