He assistedin compiling the earlier editions of Blisss Annotated Code, edited anedition of Court IJules, and is tlie author of the Fire InsuranceDigest. He has been the successful counsel in many important mer-cantile and fire insurance cases, and is a member of the Bar Asso-ciation of the city, the Law Institute, and the State Bar was an officer of the Ninth liegi
