The Tower Hill Sundial is a piece of public art commissioned by London Transport (now Transport for London). It was constructed of bronze and stone in 1990 by John Chitty and Christopher St Daniel. It depicts London scenes. The outer ring shows the history of London Transport from 1066 (the conquest) to 1982 (Thames Barrier).
