They broke into a room and secured toolswith which they proceeded to cut through a partition in thesupply room of the car house. A lineman discovered them, buthe was promptly covered with a gun. The bandits then madegood their escape. The condenser water is obtainedfrom Bear Grass Creek, near by the station. The generators deliver three-phase current at 25 cycles and13,200 volts. Two exciter dynamos, one direct connected to asteam engine, the other driven by an induction motor, supplycurrent to the revolving fields. The switchboard gallery isshown in Fig. 4.
