Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Kristofer Murzyn, an ordnance technician with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron (MALS) 12, takes photos during a tour to the Korean Demilitarized Zone, April 15, 2017. The tour included stops at the Joint Security Area, the Bridge of No Return and the Freedom Bridge. The Marines are temporarily in Korea in support of Max Thunder, an operational readiness exercise built to promote interoperability between and ROK forces. The trip was a way for the Marines to learn the countries’ history from the time of the Korean War to modern day.
