There is no palm quite so graceful as the^reca for house decoration, particularly when it attains a considerable size. When the plants are well furnished at the bottom, a well-grown specimen is the personification of all that is graceful and beautif ul in the palm line. We have a large stoclc of these plants, grown in fine, bushy form, as shown in the illustration. A miniature Fan-leaf palm, somewhat re- sembling Latania Borbonica, but very much more dwarf and compact in habit, and having much smaller and handsomer leaves, which are of the most perfect shape. The leaves are circular in form, only about eight to ten inches in diameter,and deeply toothed. Very small plants throw up an unusual num- ber of these beautiful leaves, furnishing and finishing the plant, making very perfect specimens when only a foot high,—plants of this height having as many as a dozen well developed, perfect leaves. It makes a lovely plant for table decoration. No palm makes such perfect specimens when small, so it has a distinct place among decorative plants, and is a charming addition to the limited number of plants really adapted for house decoratio
