Let's give Tech. Sgt. Courtney Way from the 334th Training Squadron a shout-out for being chosen as the Warrior of the Week during this week's staff meeting! As an air traffic control instructor, Way has provided exceptional instruction for 60 non-prior service students and 12 officers. Her passion for instructing and developing Airmen led to many student mentoring sessions, ensuring students understood their part in today’s Air Force enlisted force structure. She was selected to take over as the new air traffic control craftsman course subject matter expert, and is now qualified to instruct the 80-hour, 7-Level training program for 230 personnel annually because of her commitment to professional development. Additionally, as the squadron’s Government Purchase Card holder, Way adeptly managed $1,000 worth of improvements funds for the week, while simultaneously designing and producing the first-ever infant lactation room for staff and students in the 81st Training Group.
