POLARIS POINT, Guam (March 23, 2016) — Machinery Repairman 3rd Class Thomas Evans, assigned to the machinery repair division of the Emory S. Land-class submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), uses a laith to manufacture a specialty corrective-action tool necesarry for critical machinery repairs. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
