People seen walking along the street of Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh. The unrecognised yet de facto independent country in South Caucasus, Nagorno-Karabakh (also known as Artsakh) has been in the longest-running territorial dispute between Azerbaijan and Armenia in post-Soviet Eurasia since the collapse of Soviet Union. It is mainly populated by ethnic Armenians.
