Peter Pan, the boy who wouldn’t grow up, was the magical hero of the much loved children’s story by J M Barrie. This statue stands in Kensington Gardens in London and was created by the sculptor George Frampton. It was commissioned by Barrie and erected overnight on the 30th April 1912 as a May Day surprise gift to the children of London.
