Eight quires of eight folios each, and one of six. 30 lines in 2 columns, ruled in pencil, with prickings, catchwords and quire numbers visible. Parchment Figures (partially obscured) in large opening initial; border design on f. 1 includes grotesques. 9-line opening initial in red, blue, gold on lozenge background. Red and blue border designs. 2-line blue and gold initials, extending into border, with opposing color penwork. This is the only manuscript preserving the text of this 14th century French romance. The text on f. 70r-v seems to lack the decoration and verse structure of other folios, therefore may possibly not be part of main text.; Page of text with initials, border design and quire number.
