Firefighters, assigned to the Ohio National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing, alongside several local area fire departments, put out a controlled fire during a simulated aircraft mishap at the Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport in Swanton, Ohio, May 18, 2021. The exercise gave local military and civilian first responders the chance to work together to get quality hands-on experience in a joint environment, ensuring they are ready in the event of a real-world aircraft mishap.
