As a result it is freely stated that logging opera- tions will be carried on much more extens- ively during the coming season than they were last winter and that production will be considerably increased. The labor situa- tion, costs of woods supplies, etc., all show the right trend. Present prices and the de- mand for lumber suggest the firm tone of an established market. These are the facts and they will form the background of your production programme in 1923. Is your equipment prepared? A return to "normal" in the lumber trade will mean very active competition.
