The farmer himself is the most valuable asset and has a moneyvalue as the one who earns the income on which the house-hold subsists. Therefore he should carry life insurance tomake lighter the burden of carrying on the farm should deathoccur. Then again there may be some indebtedness against the farmwhich in the event of his death the farmers wife and familywould find a great and intolerable burden. L
