Saint Vladimir Cathedral, Chersonesus, Crimean Peninsula.


Neo-Byzantine Russian Orthodox church built in the 1870's on the shores of the Black sea outside Sevastopol. During World War II the cathedral was destroyed. It was rebuilt and consecrated in April 2004 An ancient Greek colony was founded at Chersoneus 2500 years ago.
