Jindřichův Hradec, South Bohemia, Czechia: the unique gilded & brightly painted well head in the courtyard of the town’s castle is adorned with the five-petalled Rožmberk rose, mythical beasts & fantastic faces, & was created by a local blacksmith, Andreas, as a wedding gift for the 1598 marriage of the last Lord of Hradec, Joachim Ulrich von Neuhaus, to Marie of Hohenzollern.
