Nearly everyone wishes they would not come to this market, even the retailers saying they are a detriment to the business under ordi- nary spring conditions. There are moderate supplies of eat- tleyas, valley, freesias, snapdragons, callas, stocks, calendulas, poppies and other miscellaneous items. Asparagus is more plentiful, but adiantum is scarce. While conditions have been bad and are not yet good, anyone who compares the business this month with business in the spring glut last year will find it was much worse then. We have progressed. Growers Meet. The Commercial Flower Growers of Chicago met at the Hotel Kandolph Thursday evening.
