19/10/2019 Wennington (east of Carnforth) Direct rail Services class 66 locomotives 66301 Kingmoor TMD + 66302 Endeavour (tail) working train 3J11 the prevous nights 1613 Carlisle Kingmoor - Carlisle Kingmoor TMD water cannon via Settle-Blackburn-Preston-Barrow-Carnforth-windermere-carlisle-preston-Blackburn-hellifield-skipton-Carnforth - Settle Jn - carlisle. This train uses a high pressure water jet to wash leaf mulch from the railhead enabling trains to grip better during the autumn leaf fall season.
